About the Role
Bud Healthcare is a provider of supported living accommodations and support services for individuals with disabilities, complex needs, and mental health challenges. We are dedicated to promoting independence, well-being, and inclusion within the community. As part of our multidisciplinary team, the Psychologist plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive psychological support to our clients.
1. Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine clients' cognitive, emotional, and
behavioral needs and strengths.
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions based on evidence-based
practices and client-centered approaches.
3. Provide therapy and counselling to individuals, groups, and families, addressing a range of mental health
issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders.
4. Offer psychoeducation and skill-building sessions to enhance clients' coping skills, emotion regulation,
and social functioning.
5. Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team, including social workers, support workers,
and healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
6. Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed, providing immediate support and referral to
appropriate services.
7. Facilitate psychotherapy groups and workshops on topics relevant to clients' needs and goals, such as
stress management, communication skills, and mindfulness.
8. Provide consultation and training to staff on psychological issues, interventions, and best practices in
mental health support.
9. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance
with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
10. Stay informed about developments in the field of psychology and mental health, participating in
continuing education and professional development activities.
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience.

Requirements
Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology from an accredited institution.
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a psychologist in Ireland.
Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities and complex needs, including those with mental health challenges, preferably in a community-based or residential setting.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with proficiency in administering and interpreting psychological tests and assessments.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with other professionals to provide coordinated and integrated care.
Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of individuals and the organization, with a willingness to work variable hours as needed.
Full driving license and access to a vehicle is desirable but not essential.
