About Us:
Bud Healthcare is a respected provider of home care support services, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals living at home. Our Belfast branch is committed to delivering compassionate and personalized care to support individuals in maintaining their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with the Care Manager and a team of healthcare assistants to coordinate and deliver high-
quality home care support services to individuals living at home.
2. Assist with the scheduling and allocation of care visits, ensuring that individuals receive the appropriate
level of care and support according to their needs and preferences.
3. Conduct initial assessments and ongoing reviews of individuals' care needs, collaborating with the Care 4. Manager and other healthcare professionals to develop and update individual care plans.
5. Liaise with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure that care plans are tailored to
meet the unique needs and goals of each individual.
6. Provide guidance and support to healthcare assistants in delivering care services, including medication
administration, personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
7. Monitor the quality of care services provided, conducting regular audits and assessments to identify
areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
8. Respond to emergencies and incidents as required, providing support and guidance to healthcare
assistants and coordinating appropriate interventions.
9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care visits, assessments, and care plans, ensuring
confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
10. Act as a point of contact for individuals and their families, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests
for information in a timely and professional manner.
11. Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including working two Saturdays a month and Sundays as required.

Salary: Starting from £25,000 pa

Requirements

  1. Previous experience in a care coordination or similar role within the healthcare or social care sector.

  2. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities effectively.

  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with individuals, families, and colleagues.

  4. Knowledge of person-centered care principles and best practices in home care support.

  5. Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and evenings, to meet the needs of the service.

  6. Full driving license and access to a vehicle is desirable but not essential.
